Cadwell.... this is THE circuit for me... it has it all.... the high speed... the low speed corners... the gooseneck and the infamous mountain.. yes it can be a scary place... i personally feel at home here despite it biting me several times...
I would love a big smallie forum presence here.. SIP are meant to be bringing a bus with smallies on to race. I will try to find out of this is still happening

Atleast some people are thinking of showing up "ich darf die mail von tino sacchi mal hier einstellen. eventuell hat ja jemand lust.. As you know Charlie Edmonds will leave the racing championship on next year. He will dedicate most of his time to tuning and to the customers, and he will attend to the races only few times in the future. Anyway a small grup of us will go to Cadwell Park racetrack to see him for the last time in this race season. We will in Cambridge for the night on 24 saturday and on sunday early morning we will be in Cadwell Park. We will fly back on monday night. The program will include visits to the pubs and so on, If somebody will met us we will be very happy to be in only one big grup as we was in the past. Please inform the friends (forum?) about this event to be a big grup of Lambretta fans to support the mytical Charlie on the racetrack. Best regards Tino (alte sponge) " www.germanscooterforum.de/Rennen_f37/Charlie_Edmonds_t227221.html

Afternoon Tony
On the basis that the mice from the mouse organ and chief mechanic Bagpuss can fix that fancy front brake of yours , then I will make that 400 mile round trip to the Cadwell circuit.
Looking to head up north with a few more chums off the forum from the South West region to support your quest.
Regards Gabriel the Toad.

I would love to make it down, unfortunately I will be in Tenerife with CC ;D
Willing to drive a minibus down from the North of Scotland to a race meet next year, could make a few stops on the way down to pick folk up if they can chip in for petrol. Make a weekend of it.

Be really good to catch up with any forum members that attend.. spoke to John Woods today he says about 30 odd scooters are racing... not sure if the overseas smallie racers are coming... look forward to seeing whoever next weekend cheers Col

What is the camping situation as we will be there all weekend? more than enough room to camp Max.... Cadwell is a great set up, and the facilities are good ... its a far better track to spectate at than Pembry... dont know if your aware but the geared and auto scooters are all on one big grid of about 30 or so..... like Tony says practice is about 9.30 to 10.00 am.. the first SCOOTER race may well be about 11.00-11.30am.. the second one usually about 2.30-3.00pm.. same on both days....... i know of quite a few scooterists going and camping over so hopefully a good atmosphere.... My mates were talking of taking food and drink with them, just to keep costs down a bit..... i will be there from 7.00 am saturday so be sure to come straight over for a cuppa.... and look out for the postman early next week.... cheers Col
