Cracking result today on the Falc Qualified for the nock out stage in which i managed to beat a RB20 (200cc) series 1 lambretta 16.49 @ 76 mph Then beat Russel Milns on his RB20 chiselspeed built series 2 lambretta Resulting in winning road class 15.9 sec @ 79mph ..... Fantastic !!!!! Hoped to hit the 80+ and better me santa pod time but quite a bit of crosswind and very dodgey surface.. The only vespa there tooooo Cheers to the JB, chiselspeed lads and pete and jamie newby.....

Well done on your times you are right about the surface I was there on my Lambretta Sprinter and I did a 14.6 but the surface was so bad I had to shut down 3/4 way down the track Time for more sf to get sprinting!!

Yeah nice one Nik. Your right about the bumpy surface, I also had to shut off around 3/4 track to slow enough for the repairs. Still managed a 12.9 second pass mind ;D but then mine isnt a proper scooter See you at the pod Pete

well done nic , on sunday it was nice to see a smallframe vespa sprinting again as big tony cummins as packed it in i think? i didnt have time to speak to you sunday as my dad kept me busy,as he sprints his old motorbike and he too as a old lambretta and as sprinted that afew times in the past, unlike me i go for the primmy myself as its small and nimble for me to ride,as also being a regular attendent to these sprint meets i noticed a strange thing that happened during the final run off you had with that fast old skool chiselspeed rb20 road going series 2 lambretta it posted a faster time 15.8@82mph ;D but still lost weird or what , it also qualified with a time of 15.8@82mph ;D before the finals run off, something you didnt put down in your opening thread . my dad says you should not have even been entered into that class as we all know the mighty vespa falcs need alot of external/ and in some cases internal welding to match the engine cases to the massive transfer ports on the barrel as ive seen from some of your pics from ages ago his words not mine and he should now . he says you should have entered into the new class they added this season for the likes of us with falcs+lambrettas with welded cases the modified street legal scooter class for which nobody as been in yet this season, so all the times that are set would be classed as records so thats good for us smallframe riders iam very surprised pete newbold of the 100 mphscooter/sprinting guru didnt explain this to you regarding entering which class before you paid iam also yery surprised that the other fellow sprinters in your class did not bring this to your notice iam sure next time they will as noboby likes to win by cheating do they? and you did so well it would be a shame if your results were tarnished i suggest in future all the falcs with ther welded cases and same types of lambrettas should enter the modified scooter street legal class its there so use it iam sorry to go on abit but i think somebody had to make a point in this matter good luck on your next sprint outing nic keep it quick but keep it fair as rules are to be followed or whats the point in having them primmysue
