Its the whole profile Nik.The corrected compression ratio is raised compared to the old original plus the squish is about 1.4mm.Nearly done 120miles on it now,how many was it you have done on the Clouseau?

Just got my GS 150 back on the road, had a centerplug head done for it to make it more practical for modern traffic.Got a different needle done for the old carb.Got it up to nearly 11hp but rides aswel as a poor p200 or a good px150.Was well worth getting it done.Jerome at Readspeed sorted it. Hi soosh glad to hear another vs5 is on the road and not sitting in some trendy apartment covered in mirrors and lights liked a prized trophy. Rebuilt total engine on tonys advice it was just a matter of making up the correct spacers to pull the crank thru the bearings, the scoot starts easy and runs easy seems to pull quite well although i,m still running in. Only one problem which is really pissing me off,,,,,a vibration mostly noticeable during acceloration or under a bit of load, its not coming from the top half so its either engine mounts are hard or maybe wear/play in the primary drive ,,,,,,,, ANY BODY OUT THERE ANY IDEAS? ? A FEW PICCIES OF THE REBUILD AND END PRODUCT AT A RECENT SHOW. ;D

Hard to say what vibration is.No my GS is no ordament and is ridden whenever possible,i mean they were ridden years ago to sporting events where they were thrashed about, then ridden home and used for work the next day.It was ok then so it should be ok now,its so smooth to ride, slow compared to my other scoots but i love it.Best of luck with yours.
