THE SCOOT IN QUESTION HERE IS A GS150 VS5 original crank has a bent rod so whilst on e-bay have acquired a gs crank which has quite a bit of work done mainly a replacement con rod as it now runs a small end bearing instead of a bush,,,,,,,GOOD. secondly there has been four holes drilled in each web which looks to be a good job this crank will be going into a std engine which has a slight bit of barrell porting other wise stock. my question is with the large holes in the crank would this create a pressure problem with running this? i am aware of packing the holes with cork or plastic but if possible would like to avoid this incase they work loose,,,,,,,,so can i use as it is. thanx for now.

Missed this before now.
As far as I can see there's no reason you couldn't use it.However, I've no idea about the tweaking or the reason behind it but TBH I'd not risk running webs that've been that weakened.
If it was my crank I'd get them split and fit the modified rod to the standard webs.
