After a short but pissed through ride from Bolton, my mate Ken and myself got there just before lunch, big thanks to Col for the free tickets and the beers ;D was good to meet you mate, good to say hello to John Woods, took the pics of your scoot John as you snored away in the back of your van ;D and Ste15 They managed to squeeze the 2 geared scoot races in as the bad weather held things off a while and Charlie Edmonds can be seen in one of my pics waiting till the last minute before his tyre choice, nice to meet you too I loved those Minarellis too, 50cc, you should have heard them revving, awesome power from such a small engine and style too, a cracking afternoons event and thanks to the blokes from AF Rayspeed with the group 6? cutdown explaining about tyres and tubeless rims etc, an interesting insight Good luck today Col on the Gilera, hope you get the points

Cheers for that mate Dont know how Col did yet but I think John finished around halfway in the pack but which position exactly unknown for which class he is in( I'd say he won though cos he was the only smallframe there so thats worth at least 10 points ;D). Charlie Edmunds was pipped on the last 2 bends in the 2nd race, as he was overtaking a back marker which held him up and was overtaken by someone, don't know who though

My theory still stands every single member ive met from this forum has been spot on........ Very nice to meet you Eean (and Ken) sorry i missed you Toffeemandog (Tony)...... what a weekend.... saturday was wet but good racing with evryone starting and safely finishing both races.... woodsie`s SS90 sounded ace as ever, but i think it was overgeared a little.. im sure John will be on to tell all.. he seemed dead dissapointed.. i would have been thrilled.. Today (sunday) was a washout.. it lashed it down, we all got one race each before the meeting was called off for safety reasons.. its not nice watching riders dropping like flies, thinking is it me next... met some top lads racing motorcycles, most of them said the scooter races had been the best entertainment all weekend... apparently we all went for it good style on the track and then in the bar on saturday night... ;D John ready to do battle with a pair of 250cc scafold pole lammys..

Nice to meet lads from the forum, that was my missus asleep in the van I had dropped the gearing to 26th front but on a wet track all she wanted to do was either go sideways or wheelie as i changed up to 3rd. 7th in both races was best i could do and yes i was pissed off with that. Anyway Col were out together at Lydden hill but the autos are getting a 10 second head start.
