alright so made one of these and i really liked it (dad suggested this idea in fact), made a quarter turn one and they have a fair few benefits, 1- carb can be easily taken of without removing lid of carb, 2 it keeps the wire short and 3 its fairly cheap (oh and 4 its good for large carbs and cheaper than the commercial ones) cant think of a reason not to do this except for the fact it may be classed as ripping of somebody Else's work - but it would be less expensive than somebody buying the whole amount of metal and creating a few prototypes blah blah ill get a few pictures up of my own and show you how it works and that if anybody is interested ( would geus not though your all allot richer than me ) so if your interested leave a comment and if the Creator of the idea ( although i don't know who it was who created em ) doesn't like the idea i will stop it. they come with 2 small cable nipples, obv the kit built up, and a cable adjuster - for £6 PM if interested

I think the idea comes from Italy and might be available to buy over there.

seems like a lot of effort to me... more to go wrong. All you need is a larger pulley...I have large pulleys on throttle and gears on the hornet. Been on there since 1998. No issues.
