most people won't understand that comment, far too sharp today, Jim.
If anyone's got any funny bearing sizes/types for those odd PX things, especially the fork bearings, i'm not interested and neither is me ;D

Note: Oil seal size clutch: 22.7x47x7 with offset "lip"Hope this does not contradict Hank's list.

im a little confused as to the crank seal on the clutch side being 22.7 x 47 x 7 x 7.5 especially the first and last ones ie 22.7 and 7.5 i thought the seal was a 22 x 47 x 7

dunno, i just got some bearings and seals from kent bearings the 6303 was £2.61 could have got a 6204 for the same price but went for the nu204 x life but was pricey at £24.60 the 22x47x7 was £1.85 and the 19x32x7 was £1.73, what you think of the prices ?

OK, seriously now, no jokes about sealife.
Bought an oil seal kit from Chis, for my PK engine, realised it had a 19mm flywheel side oil seal so went back to get a 20mm seal.
He told me that the 20mm seals caused loads of problems after a thousand miles or so, and that Piaggio sent a memo around all dealers etc to advise fitment of a 19mm seal on all 19 AND 20mm cranks.

I doubt a 19mm seal will fit the 20mm crank, or at least last more than 10miles or so.
I tried to fit a standard 22x47x7 seal on the clutch side, rather than the original 22.7x47x7 (with offset "lip") - a definit NoGo!

Well, we will see. Not tried to fit it yet. At least it's the flywheel side so I don't need to strip the engine to fit it.

Where can I get an oil seal 24 32 7?. I have tried Beedspeed and two local bearing supliers with no joy

Just bumping into this thread not wanting to be patronising but here's some good information.
I'm an engineer and I meet a lot of scooter people who ask for C3 & C2 rated bearings.
DO NOT EVER FIT THESE TO YOUR SCOOTER!!!!!!!!
C1 to 3 ratings on the bearing denote the clearance between the balls and the races is higher with C3 being the largest clearance. In other words they are very loose. They are made like this for high temperature environments where they will expand and take up the slack.
If you fit them to a scooter engine/forks or anywhere the chances are that they are worse than the worn bearings you are replacing.
Note: FAG are now selling a new bearing eg 63032RS-C- On this type the C denotes a new style race and ball fit and is most suitable and desirable. Confusing I know but if in doubt both FAG and SKF have a real good technical help line in the UK which is only a google click away.
Oh, and never install them by hitting them on the inner race, it will damage the new bearing.
Joy! happy smooth runnings.

Do you think its better to replace flywheel side 6204 c4 with NU204 as the NU has moving inside ring so the forces of the crank are moved directly to the casing and not the bearing hub...?
