Cheers Tony,
I will take a closer look at things when I get to it, but many thinks for the pointers..
Reading between the lines though, is what you are saying, that I should just buy the zadra or the likes if I can't be bothered to strip the clutch a million times to get it right???
Cheers

clutches.... i know these questions come up again and again... and i know everyone will say xl2... but i'm poor and trying to save money, i've already got my standard v100 clutch, a four plate kit and some taff speed springs (big one with little one inside). i ve stuck the four plate together with the taffy springs, but the springs seem to bind up and not fully compress which i reckon would be a drag nightmare... i'm wondering about three standard plates with the taff springs, or four plates with standard spring..... any advice??? cheers, o

hi tony, when its finished it'll be an m1l, 32mm koso, static elec ignition, lightned pk fly, vsp (for the meantime), everythings welded and matched/flowed. i've model the motor on mota and reckon with a good pipe it should be ok for mid 20's, the vsp is a disaster for this kit though, so i'm probably really looking at around 20hp, maybe not even..... good news for the clutch though the standard spring with the little taffy inside doesn't seem to bind too, much, i might try for that with the four plate?? what do you reckon?? cheers, o

hi fella-sorry i forgot about this post. I dont know anything at all about the clutch with extra spring.. it sounds like an old idea that we binned when i was at kegra as it didnt really work. It all comes down to basket as i posted up earlier. Your engine, what is it meant to rev to? Arent quattrini's rev monsters and the vsp pipe not so? Any way... if its a steel basket then i'd go for 4 plates.. hopefully a better material than cork, and xl2 base unit with uprated springs, with maybe springs inside the springs. This is what I'm gonna fit to my road bike. For the Falc racer, i bought the falc. Its top money but looks like this is the solution for big power.
