Dave, regarding back carriers, it may be worth knocking a couple up and seeing what folk like then putting into production.

I reckon in terms of stocking spare pistons you're best off with a Standard Polini 130, standard ET3, and Malossi 135. Oh and a DR130. Like somebody else said I'm not sure how many Smallies do the rallies but you never know, I'll certainly be doing a few on my DR130 Rog

A couple of weeks ago at the W S M rally i had a look at Daves discount scooter parts stall......... very impressed with his proper value priced stuff.. although i didnt need anything in particular, he had loads of nicely powdercoated (BLACK) cowlings and wheel rims.... also a brand new PK fork leg coated too...... be sure to track him down at the next Rally / event you go to, and see just what goodies he stocks to keep your smallie looking tidy.....

And I also believe it was Dave that sold a scooterist a Cosa clutch, so we locals could get him back on the road for the rest of the rally Well done Dave!! 30 minutes before we shut shop, he turned up with it and had it fitted , shall I send you the overtime bill ;D ;D

Hey Dave, Really tops to see someone in business who does more than pay lip service to giving something back to scooterists. I have quite a bit of experience with computer aided design (mainly autodesk inventor but know my way around autocad as well although I dont like it much) so if you need anything prepped for manufacturing at some point give me a shout. I do a bit of work with some folks in India who shall remain nameless and they keep coming back so I must be doin something right lol.
Now.. on a related note, that caliper that showed up earlier in the thread, will that fit the older style vespa disc setup? (the pre piaggio one with the similar design but funny looking markings on the hub, i'll try and post a pic later)
