I'm chuffed; I've actually got a full set of indicators in decent condition.
What's a good way of cleaning lenses? I'm thinking soapy water and a toothbrush.
I'm hoping to get a couple of hours tomorrow afternoon to run the rest of the cables in & fit the stand and the brake pedal, maybe even the head bearings.

I would paint the whole engine bay Andy. Soak the lenses in soapy water for a while first, then use a toothbrush.

Not selling it now. Where can I get a ropey old Polini barrel to repair?

;D There you go, Max- just for you! Eng bay fully painted and new cables run in. Thinking about cutting this mudguard to copy the one on that blue German racing PX with the repositioned engine... A few more pints to go, I suspect...

Cheers Andy but what about the other side? So you're telling me I have to remove the regulator, now?

Cheers Andy but what about the other side? So you're telling me I have to remove the regulator, now? Well, you can do that or mask it with masking tape. You''ll be surprised at the amount of crap that gets thrown under the bubbles by the wheel. ;D

The headset is on and almost fully assembled. I decided I'd be able to work out the brake hose routing better once all the cables and electrics were in... Ign switch / steering lock looks much better!

Standard shock with the shroud removed. Can the spring be replaced, I wonder?

This might explain why it didn't start very well after it'd been sat for a few months... Ignition looks to be a bit retarded...

;D ;D ;D
I've just ridden my scooter and it's f*ckin' ACE!
Really buzzing. It even ticks over, and it has a front brake that feels like it actually belongs in this century!
I can't wait to get it on the road.
