My ET3 cuts out when coming to a stop but then kick starts really easily? It sounded like a blocked jet in the carb to me so I stripped and cleaned it but it's still doing it...any ideas? Thanks

Could be tickover is set too low or an airblock in fuel line.

Could be tickover is set too low or an airblock in fuel line. Yeah I've checked both of those, I'm pretty sure it's fuel related though. The strange thing is that it starts really easily after it's cut out and ticks over nicely

has the brake light bulb blown Yes it has....I’ve have discovered that engine cuts out when foot brake applied. It’s not just due to a blown bulb is it? What wattage bulb should it be btw?

Sorry typo....it's my 1979 Vespa V100 not my ET3. By the sound of it this is a common issue then? I found both rear light and brake bulb were blown so replaced both and my problem is solved....as long as they don't blow again

Check all the lights. It's a load balance circuit. Not enough load and the voltage goes up blowing bulbs. Don't forget the speedo bulb.
