Had a bit of a nightmare getting the output shaft to come out....bashed it to death and it still wouldn't budge ... Heated the case and pushed the bearing with the shaft out the other way.. Then used my mini grinder to cut the bearing off... Gave the cases a clean (but will take them to my daughter's and use her dishwasher😁) Need to order parts now..

Looks good! Don't dishwash the cases, it works well but also buggers up the aluminium so you end up with a coating of alu oxide.... also my wife nearly killed me because dinnerplates tasted like oil for weeks after...

I noticed lines in the primer where I had used an orbital bit for my drill with 80 grit when I was sanding off paint and surface rust.. I used halfrauds rust proof primer 1st then there normal primer I didn't like there primer do went to my local car spares and got some motip primer... What a difference that has made I'm well happy with the result ... I even had a little helper today

I will look into vapour blasting....when PJ's honed my barrel they cleaned that look really sparky when it came back...will ask them. Right been blowing over the frame looks ok ....will be giving it a few coats of clear then a light sand and then polish... I need a new mudguard the front of mine is a bit wobbly looking and rusty...

Parts turned up from s.i.p and scooter centre.. So I could crack on with spraying the new front mudguard and side panels... Needed a new rear brake cable and getting the pin out of the lever end that holds the cable was stuck solid I eventually managed to sort it . I have bought new Carbone sports suspension front and rear as well as new headstock bearings which the front end will be on tomorrow..... Im really stuck about what to do with my engine, was going to go down the malossi route but have been lookin at the quatrini 144 m1l 60 will that fit my cases?.... Or maybe Polini cylinder I haven't got a clue what to do..
