I have already replaced the oil seals on this engine (crank clutch and flywheels seals, driveshaft)
I note i now have an oil leak and pinpointed it to the selector box shaft. has anyone changed these? how easy is it? the removal of the selector shaft looks a tricky. the little pin that holds the lot together, below the 'batwing', doesn't look that easy to remove and i don't wont to force it as it may damage the seal further.

It’s a case split job you’ll need to knock out the pin , it’s tapered so will only come out one way then there is a bolt on the top of the shaft that you undo then it slides out from inside the case there’s a small O’ring on that shaft. It maybe that the hole in the case has started to oval in that cases sip sell a sleeve.
