I have a m200 build too, i now have this fuel pump so my engine do not size up ๐ How far are you into your build? Do you have a thread running? how is the fuel pump driven/powered?

I have the parts, just not started the build. The pump use vakum from carb intake.

A bit of fettling on the cases, the casting was a little rough in places and I do not want any of these coming adrift and bits floating round the engine.

I did read a german m200 forum, one try the big bertha exhaust and had 39.5 hp only ported exhaust and original stroke, i did bye the big tuba exhaust, i have a big bertha to on my Sp09. The lakers exhaust for m200 the germans say have the best hp.

Looks good - so just check that the MD linkage allows the dogs to rotate enough to get your gearbox in. I found recently that it wouldn't

Iโve always thought a bit of sloppiness was part of riding an old Vespa..... when I need a bit of precision I get the Honda out ๐

I found recently that it wouldn't It seems a bit of a lottery depending on your fork casting, I had already cleaned the casting up and filed the inside edge of the linkage. I have just fitted the gears without any issues.

Found this thread when looking on info about MD gear linkage. Hope you get an email about this and update your thread, since you have not logged in on the forum since 2020.
That engine looks absolutely mental and I'd like to hear more about it and the scoot.
