Ok, sad but the time has come to downsize the scooter collection. From April I won’t be able to commute on my ‘81 V100 into central London so it has to go. Original paint, brown original logbook, keys, V5 in my name. All very sound and good for many miles. Bitubo shocks front and back, SIP tubeless rims, M1 Quattrini, Franz pipe, DRT Clutch and runner tree, 27/69 primaries 24mm CP Polini carb, vespatronic ignition, ETS cases decked and ported to match M1, ETS crank, SIP xl2 clutch cover and SIP arm. Runs very sweetly. I also have the original three speed engine which has never been opened up and was running perfectly when I removed it. Looking for £2600 for scooter and both engines, or £1900 for the scooter with the original engine in. I am in SW London. Will add a few more pics later

Cheers Steve, it is. Would rather not sell it but come April it will cost me £12 per day to ride to work on it.
Would prefer to sell it with the M1 engine in but realise that makes it more pricey, but it’s a cheap way to get a well kitted engine for someone

Have dug out all the history....MOTs back to 1984 and the original logbook all present. Total mileage is about 10,000 miles since new. Had to change the speedo in 2013 but the mileage change is all recorded on the MOTs
The engine has done about 1500 miles since the build, clutch about 500 since the DRT was fitted

Ahhh, the perfect spec: Scruffy original paint with a hot engine.
I'd love it but sadly my commute is also within the ULEZ.. if it was me I'd hold on to it for 2 years until its ULEZ exempt..

Speedo goes to 50 and it zips past that quite quickly....I ride in a city so top speed is not my aim so no idea

Can’t believe this hasn’t been bought yet. Nick’s attention to detail is A1. This would be Great Little scooter for someone. Easily returned to original spec as well. If I had the room I would buy it for asking price.
