All sorted. Opened, seal flipped and closed in 1 hour 30 mins. Thanks again for spotting that. I've fitted the piston and the cooling fins. Just to make sure, the arrow on the piston should point to the rear of the scooter yes? (Not to confuse things- The black arrows are where the lumps are in the piston rings) Also just to confirm there is no gasket that goes between the cooling fins and the actual head is there? Thanks

Here are the photos of the stator. I know it can only go in one way and then be moved by about 3 or 4 cms. Any idea what I should line up with what? On the second and third photos there are marks at the 4 and 8 o'clock but which one do I use? Thanks

Making steady progress. Bars fitted into the headset. Lock fitted to side door Badges fitted and new wiring loom fitted Centre mat fitted. Floor runners fitted using the proper rivets and tool Next scary job is the legshield beading with that funny tool. I've watched the Vespa E Motori video on youtube 5 times but I just know it's not got to be as easy as it looks.

Well after a few hiccups (dry clutch plates and a throttle cable outer that was too long) it's finally finished. Just needs an MOT and then registering, then it'll be up for sale and on with the next smallie project.
