Very nice - If only i had my Mk1 Escort - and that MK1 Golf GTi and my Mk1 Granada 3.0s or my Mk4 Zephyr .... OMG making me want to sell all my scooters and buy a classic car again ... Stop those thoughts...

I have a 26 year old proton with 50,000 miles on it. lovely car just a shame the sun roof leaks allowing the boot and drivers footwell to fill up with water.

no problem with parts through the owners club ( run by a main agent ) some parts are so expensive that it will be cheaper to let the car die and weigh it in
shame cos its a solid car and every panel is galvo in the factory

Try Dow Corning 791 silicone on sunroof, i fitout bathrooms and use this, a great silicone , cheap silicones are rubbish they just pull away.

Another alterative is CT1, should be available at the local builders merchant for around £10 - 12 per tube.
