My other project from the garage, built from a brand new crated frame from the Scooter restorations collection a few years back, started life as a a standard build but as usual ended up slightly more! Dry building the panels. Engine again started life as a new standard SIL 200 unit The final incarnation was a set of one off panels from Chris at GRP, the plan was to water cool the head, which may come next year (having too much fun with the smallie!) The engine was handed over to Pro-Porting and ended up as: 225 ultimate Monza kit, ported, matched and welded, larger inlet with RD reedblock and MRB inlet. Pro-Porting 62x110 crank, balanced and welded. Cyclone 5 speed box and AF race clutch Franspeed race exhaust Originally tried a TMX35 carb which did not really suit the engine and could not resolve the flat spot at 1/4 throttle, switched to 30 VHSH as recommended and sorted, great carb.
