Cheers mate. Thats not a bad set up. Been looking its how to mount and what length/stroke it needs. As my bike will just be a straight line sprinter and not do 'twisty' events its not to critical for me if I lose a bit of steering lock. Mine needs straight line stability. I got a couple of knackered ones from a bike breakers yesterday to do some mock ups. Pic is a great help

You won't need a steering damper on standard geo oz. Vespas are so tame as standard. If you are sprinting then with wheelbase and steering angle mods you definatey won't need it.

Above 90mph my 50 Special starts shaking it head. I backed off when it happened, Sticky tried to ride through it, got it just over 100. He said it was very "squirrely" The sprinter has brace bars welded in the frame, that should help, but I can't see a steering damper doing it any harm.
