I also notice the Parma lads have a nice pre race meal haha Team Casa Lambretta / Rimini lambretta centre are very hospitable to be fair... Meats, cheese and wine given out to anyone showing a genuine interest in the race team..... A very friendly bunch of Italians indeed, luckily we had the forum interpreter MADMAX on hand to pass on good wishes and ask Questions... |

We were camped opposite them, lovely bunch of lads, Barone gave me several carb bits and refused any payment. Was funny watching them when they had a problem with the smallies carburation - at full chat it would cycle the revs "wah-wah-wah" They spent about an hour trying to sort it out until finally one of the lambretta mechanics came over and whipped the bodywork off - ran clean. He walked away with a perfect Italian shrug as if to say "will you please stop making so much noise"
Good weekend which would have been more fun if my big end hadn't destroyed itself 1st race Sunday costing me 2nd in Grp4 championship. Hey - ho.
