. finally finished the montessa 349 build for mates son an collected the kx125 payment . heres the frame n engine lined up infront of ld frame . its looking very do-able at moment , with added bonus of kx bottom cradle also carries shock n swinging arm pivots as part of rear engine mount .simplifys the rear shock n swinging arm fabrication to basically shortening the swinging arm to right length . i love the look n headlight in horncast of the ld ,but the slow boring 40mph with constant threat of drive shaft snapping or rear hub breaking away n overtaking you killed it for me . was thinking of a auto conversion at the start ,but then the kx opportunity loomed up . going to be a long term back burner type of deal ,so dont hold the breath on further updates .but will post as there happening . It's like looking at the raw ingredients of a strong Belgian beer. When finished it looks normal, smells a bit different and blows your socks off!
Can't wait to see some work on this.
