They certainly are a love em or hate type of car I think. Personally I like em for being so different and apparetnly they are really comfy to cruise around in. Don't think I've ever seen a convertible one before though.

Marmite cars no doubt. I don't like marmite but love the ds, especially the convertible with the covered headlights.

You probably don't remember me but I sat on your table with Barney at that shit Vespa World Days Dinner in London. I'm thinking of restoring a car over the next year for a few quid and one of these old Citroens has potential. Always wanted to convert an HY van into a camper too.

i'd love a advant ,only trouble is convincing management she's got to drive everywhere whilst i'm stood on running boards in a pin stripe suit clutching a violin case, ant-hill-mob style . oh , an there mega bucks . hy's can be found for 1-3000 in france easily ,tho at lower end of that expect to replace most of rear chassis an floor , an about 2-3 grand could maybe find a decent ds project . always fancied one, closest ive got is a cx , in white we called the "great white shark" ,an had a polystyrene sharks fin for the roof when cruising .never got around to painting the sharks mouth n teeth on front wings before london traffic killed it alas . Ditto on the Citroën. Lovely. Funnily enough h nearest I got was a xantia estate which was also called the great white. There's space reserved in my lottery winners ever expanding garage for an avant and an hy fire engine.

I had a primmy which went away with the bin man. It went voluntarily after I'd abused it getting to scooter runs in the early 80s.

Sorry chaps didn't get many pictures, I got a bit twatted early on. I picked up this cycling cap though and remember drinking Bavarian beer out the back of this Beemer and possibly shouting at Tiff Nadell... :s

I like that phrase twatted, very descriptive and know exactly what it means. H if this year's f1 ferrari had an astra engine and suspension, Lewis would not be a happy bunny.
