Looking nice nick, will be interested to see how they changed the handlebar tubes because they had indicators in NZ. I want to remove indicators on mine but the aftermarket gas tube not fitting properly and I want to keep the original tube un-altered (two piece).
I think your engine would be one of the last except mine is even later than yours, mines 5634 I think from memory.

Riccardo , check out the footbrake captive nut as requested, also my choice of 3 different forks to go back in the SS As for the throttle tube will post up some pictures when I strip down the headset

I had to use the one they used on the Vespa 50s and PX. thanks for sharing. My next challenge is the headset but I have a replacement tube from SIP that I hope fits better than the one I got off eBay. If not I will use the original with a spacer tube inserted inside the grip as it is only a fraction short.
