I will use it and see how it performs and if this is not up to my standards I will swap it.

Just got my Vespa back and its running quite well and its very strong. Already made 80kms/h easy. I don't want to push to to much in the first 500kms. I did a mountain road, big climb, all in 4th gear and pulling. No need to reduce. I do feel its a bit strong and the gear could strech a bit more. I get the feeling they are to short for the setup....
well, I brought the vespa home, about 25kms and run great. I lunched and after I went for a ride and after not even a 1km, just stoped. Looked like it drowned (if this is the right word). I have taken the spark plug (NGK B8HS) off and was full of petrol. I change for a new one, exactly the same and start the engine and immediatly drowned again, after not even a minute working on idle. Took that spark plug off and again full of petrol.... I teh changed for a NGK B7HS and now is running great again.
All the major Vespa sites (sip-scootershop, scootercenter, etc) recommend NGK B9HS for this cylinder but looks like that the right thing to do is going down in numbers, and put spark plug that run hotter. Does this make any sense?

I have tested a couple of NGK B8HS, which was the ones I always used with the 75cc cylinder and none is working. Its getting floaded no even a minute after kickstart. I then installed a 3rd plug, now a NGK B7HS and it hanging well. No more issues.
My only concern now is the riding itself. Looks like the engine wants to develop but something is holding it back. Also, when I open the throtle in 3rd and 4th gear starts to choque and then keeps going. Can it be the carb gigleurs?
The original was just a 74, and the mechanic did not had replacements, therefore he widen the hole a bit....
What are your thoughts about this guys?

This isn't best practise and will need changing ASAP. Someone on here will point you in the right direction for jet size.

I just ordered a kit of main jets (from 75 to 98) and 3 idle jets (38, 42 and 45). Since the carb is equipped with the Malossi air filter, which sucks a more air than the standard one, I assume its really asking for more fuel, so I'm confidente that if I change the jet it will make it happier. Also, I don't think the guy touch the ignition timing and I think I will tell him to set it to 18ยบ

....just as a starting point......I was running a 90 main jet in 19/19 with 102dr kit.

That is what I'm planning to install as soon as it arrives. Was it ok? What about the idle jet?
Btw, it's a shame these kits don't come with some sort of instructions. The cylinder kit the only thing that has was a Pinasco sticker. No technical specifications no nothing, for example with the right ignition timing etc.

Well, issue somehow solved. After taking about 45minutes to make 20kms when arrived to the garage and took the carburator out, immediatly see that the main jet was blocked. Replaced by a new one, size 98, installed a fuel filter in the hose (gast tank -> carburator) and now is running quite nice, or somehow. Not perfect and I still feel it choking on high revs of 4th gear. Looks like its asking more fuel. So I must upgrade the main jet to a 105 or 110.... I now realise the mistake of buying a 19/19 carburator to use with this setup (Pinasco 102cc, cuted crankshaft and wided admission). I should have gone straight to a 24 as I was told, but though that it was going to be to much.
I will die laughing next time I hear people say that the vespas run great, using this cylinder kit with stock carb, which is 16/10 or 16/16...
