The engine is going in a 50 special frame. Keeping the specs as Quattrini recommends for the time been and its should do just under 30BHP: Standard gearbox 27/69 primaries 3.50 tyre 26mm vhst carb Even with this set up, the front wheel tend to spend a lot of time in the air! Falc primary basketNote that the crankside seal fits on the outside Falc clutch

You going to be using the pig ugly Quat "big banana"? Only to fire it up, after that it will be modified The cylindrical bit can be removed to reveal a cone (this is someone else pipe) The flywheel cowl had to be modified to as it was rubbing on the flywheel boss

I guess that's one way of hiding what the taper looks like, though can't think why you would want to make it look so ugly by adding on the end can like that, or does it also act a a muffler for the sound.

Yay, someone else assembling one of these. My kit came a few weeks ago but I haven't had the time to work on it.
Max- why are you running a falc clutch? did you have it available? or do you think its the best for a road scoot? I was considering a LTH clutch... need to make a decision..

Quattrini suggest the 26mm carb so it will be used for the running in and to get used to the power, after that we'll see. There are another 2 M200 in the UK (one is off the road at the mo tho) and both use the falc clutch. I see that you've been trying to get the cylinder cowl from fabbri racing on facebook, did you have any luck Paul?

I just haven't done it yet. Have you heard much about the LTH clutches and if they are any good? cheers pul

Max's Falc clutch is likely still top banana for an m2 project - but though i'd give the LTH a razz ... have the PX version in another scoot for the stop'n'go grid pattern roads stateside. Fabbri Racing are developing an new clutch here's a screen grab from their facebook "With the old system had problems of passage oil, the piaggio had designed already so you improved and listed on your friction, I modified further for my, but it seems to me that people enjoy to put zizagna…" link: tinyurl.com/qae4gtrapologies for any thread jack Max
