So the plan is to get this all restored I will post photos as I go along with it this is my first resto so no doubt loads of mistakes will be made but its all a learning curve. Currently drawing up more plans and the sanding stage will begin this weekend. I've been told by a number of people putting a tuned engine inside a small door is not worth doing due to space but everyone likes a challenge. The hunt for the tank came to an end as I've found a guy who had some old new stock fuel tanks.

you could always ask for a second hand race barrel in the wanted section, i have seen a few realy good offers every couple of months. as you are still in the early stagees of this rebuild you will have plenty of time to find a bargain

motoclassic should have them in? either way they are a bargain for under 200 euros, you have to clean the ports up a bit, get the pipe timing right (I have a Franz on mine) so port has been raised to 190°, it flies ;-)

I've been told by a number of people putting a tuned engine inside a small door is not worth doing due to space but everyone likes a challenge. It's definitely tight.. I've got one with a polini evo raised up quite a bit.. but it's still doable.. and what's not tight on these things? Just find a girl w/ small hands to do the work.. you just sit back and direct.

Swallow from here had PK casings with ProCup kit in his smalldoor frame, so it's definetely doable.
