After a bit of 3 way tussle and not sure of what happened price wise etc with others, (there was mention of £1700 On one of the threads). My mate managed to nab an original V90 in original paint from Yeovil. Price was no where near mention in the other thread, Anyway, this is the little darling: Owned from new by a lady, and on her passing, ownership was transferred to her husband, who left it stood since 1980. Times move on and it was sold to the chap who offered it on here, Graham ended up with it and collected it last week. After a bit of cleaning and removal of the white sticky stripes it looked a bit better: The red is a funny colour and doesn't show nicely in picture, but it is really nice in the flesh. Seat too far gone, so a new cover is being made as we type. The only real problem was a 34 year standing sieze, I could stand (gently) on the kickstart Anyway, he dropped it over to me earlier, and after Graham had soaked the bore in WD40 a week ago, I removed the flywheel cowl, applied a socket to flywheel nut and with a bar gave it a short sharp tug, and it spun over freely Tank removed (full of old oily slime ), carb cleaner poured down the fuel pipe and after 6 kicks it started and ran Hopefully tomorrow I will remove and clean the carb, and it may even ride (not sure the clutch will be free after this time, but only one way to find out). I shall update as and when things happen. This one WILL be staying in its original paint though Having said that, I do love the shiny orange one thay have as well.

Hi Henri, yep thats the one from Yeovil, exactly as described, in fact a lot better. Plan is to keep it as is, change what needs it and ride as is. Engine is sweet as, all lights fuction as intended. Bit gutted I didnt have it for myself now But, also very pleased it has a really good home where it is. I wont tell what was paid (not my place) but it was a lot less than £1700, Shaun.

yep guy who sold it messaged me to say he'd taken less than his startin price ,he was shy too an didnt say how much, dont matter too me ,so long as who-ever did is happy an feels it was worth it . think the guy sellin was more into bikes n didnt know what too ask for it ,so started at what they can make fully restoed n ready to go,glad theres no hidden horrors ,didnt expect there to be if the history was true but ya never know , if it had been closer i might of been more generous in my bidding ,but glad it went to a good home ,sweet little scoot,as my missus reminds me often i cant own em all an can only ride 1 at a time , H
