cant help but notice that virtually all the full frame lammy's (even one of the liquid cooled ones) have an air scoop under the floor runners is this to force more air up to the barrel or cool the exhaust port area or both?. would something like that be benificial to a road bike also tony ?.

If you look at the flywheels on the group 4 Lammies with Big airscoops in Tony`s pictures, you will see none of them have fins...!!! to some this is a grey area in the rules... A group 4 (standard`s class) race scooter cant be watercooled.. it has to be air cooled (IE original method of cooling)... the air scoop riders pictured, all run a flywheel that weighs next to nothing with no fins, to allow it to spin VERY FREELY, the scoop sort of force air cools the whole thing for the 10 - 15 minutes a race lasts....... Not sure id fancy my chances on a road bike with this set up on the open roads. great to see Tony and "Mark 1" Mark at Lydden Hill, top photo`s as usual mate.. second picture down shows John Woods Team Woodspeed (orange and black Gilera Runner No52) he was leading the race for the early part of these pics and was absolutely flying.... The Red cut down group 6 Lammy ( No14 ) is my mate Steve, He had a very nasty spill at the last race meeting at Three Sisters, basicly a highside saw him fly six foot in the air and land down on the track, landing on the back of his left hand ( like a 60mph cartwheel gone wrong).. the force of the landing pushed his wedding ring upwards and smashed his 3rd knuckle of 4 into three pieces aswell as dislocating two finger bones... the doctors put some wire in his hand (to knit the knuckle back together) and 4 external pins to hold the damaged hand together..!!! the metal work was removed from his hand a couple of weeks ago and his glove is know very tight, but the pictures show how focused he is back on board a 30 odd BHP RB250 lammy....!!!!!!!!! I struggle with the pressure of the clutch lever just sat on the thing (un injured)... i can recommend spectating at scooter racing to all of you, i will always help out with freebie tickets whenever i can to forum members..

Nice work Tony. Which class is the lad on the PX running in? Just curious as those legshields are obviously cut. "Group 6 Juan" in with the TS1`s & water cooled RB`s..... he holds his own too.. Red background with white number is group 6 specials class upto 260cc ish, Green background with white number is group 5 specials upto 160cc and Blue background with white number is standards group 4 class upto 210cc you may know him boss.. Stu MAD DOG Mckenzie, from the Coyote`s scooter club, he`s done every meeting this year and made a lot of fans in the paddock on the way.. Worb 5 221cc Malossi with 38mm carb and every expensive component out there to keep it all together.. im useless at linking things but if anyone interested looks in on "the results .co .uk" in the ( british historic racing section) you can find all the scooter racers speeds and times (among the motorcycle results)... Stu has had some VERY good battles with John Woodsie on his Falc SS90..

And it's always a pleasure to see you Mr Collier, big thanks to yourself for the wristband via Mr Right ;)Steady on with offering the tickets Col or there will be none left for me A great day out to say the least catching up with some fantastic friends. It was well worth the 4.30am start and the 560 miles round trip for a day with the BSSO lads. I think that 2014 should make an interesting season in the BSSO with a surge of Smallframes chewing the tarmac, get yours done mate and I think it will be a year to remember
