it should just fit like the standard type. although you may need to shim your kickstart and xmas tree

i have 50 special caseing any pics or help on how to fit pk 6spring clutch many thanks Same way as the standard clutch but you might find that the spider will rub on the primary basket. To remedy this, you'll have to split the engine and fit shims on the xmas tree and kickstart quadrant. Or if you want to bodge it, grind the bottom of the spider and the inside of the primary basket.

apparently genuine piaggio ones work but i cant be 100% sure untill i have tried it myself (i have newfren and piaggio baskets) i am using the standard type pressure plate on mine but the bearing one works too. Its like £20 though!

I use the standard (primmy, 50special etc...) push plate. To use the XL2 one, you need to cut few mm off the brass plunger. Or you could use an XL2 clutch cover.

You may find a genuine xl2 spider will clear as is. If not shim as the guys said. You need to shim the kickstart quadrant the same amount. The shim dimensions are in the stickies section. You may or may not need to mess about with the pressure plate. It's all down to tolerances as they all seem to be slightly different.

I noticed SIP is selling a modified pressure plate that uses the XL2 tech but doesn't require modifying the brass plunger... ....but it's 43 Euros. Erm. That's all a bit confusing mr. I think they took the xl2 pressure plate and machined it to fit the lardy clutch in that pic. In fact I am not too sure what's going on there!

depending what setup you have you may need stronger springs. I bought the XL strength springs from sip

i doubt you could race with a £67 clutch so dont think its good cos it says race, id be a bit wary of beedspeed in that the pattern parts they use are mostly rms and their clutch/primary parts are utter wank, you get what you pay for, and the money is yours, but why buy shite to begin with when 250 miles down the road it will need replacing ? future proof the motor as you replace parts
