Have had the case machined to take later style barrel. spec i am going for; V9A1M engine Malossi 136 ported case and welded Mazz race crank sport 4 plate clutch Mikuni VM24 carb lightened flywheel custom inlet manifold custom exhaust standard gearing 3.50 10 Continental twist sport rear tyre you can see the size difference with the barrels Has any one run the carb out the side like this with custom rotary manifold? Would it work? some pics of the bike. been playing with the lock wire. (still need more practice to get it neater)

carb ouside the frame ?
norrie "norman" kerr used to make /sell manifolds for 26mm amal or 28mm dellortos these were a stub manifold about 40mm long but you need to cut the frame to fit them it you can find one i beleave it would do the job

Lovely, shame you didnt get pics of build. What alterations did you have to do to get the 3.50 x 10 on?

Hi Thanks I have some odd pics of build will have a sort out tomorrow think there might be one of the tyre. But i had to grind the swing arm slightly, remake the exhaust at top, cut the engine plastic cover and no washers on the bolts on clutch cover or exhaust lower mount, lock-wired them just in case But is very close at the most 5mm clearance in places. The Tyre has no sign of rubbing on it, but has marked the swing arm slightly. I think you could do it without taking the engine out but i did mine when i built it. I do think they look much meaner looking with the 350 tyre and sight upgear
