Just let me know what the Vespa community want and we will put the class in,,,,,Trev It does seem a little unfair to have smallblock and large block together for the Vespa's but not the Lamby's... But saying that if you look at the class last year it was won by a 135 by a country mile... all be it not a road legal one which would be in a different class this year... (which gives the rest a chance Martin!!) I like the sound of small block motors and large block motor classes, that way your lardy kits get split right too. Whats the likelyhood of someone entering a 50 or a 90 vespa into a sprint Would be interested on what most think on this as it is a bit odd.

This is a 'bit of fun' event laid on for road people as well as sprinters to have a go. I wouldnt get to stressed about classes, trophies or winning. And as Bishop says if you lot are planning to go then put forward a class proposal and he will sort it out. Last year was great fun with a really good atmosphere.. this year being over two days promises to be excellent.

If its no hassle to set up a separate class it will be much better to have it split above and below 150cc to give us smallframes a class of our own to compete in. I know its only a bit of fun but it would be good to have a chance of winning something ;D

Would it not be best to have upto 160 and over 160 as Tony's is 153? that keeps all the smallies together then eh?

Not upset about the classes just think it could be split more like the lambrettas. And last year was excellent and as has been said, who cares where you come as it is in the name of fun... Shit. i got well and trully thrashed by a 70cc but will be there again this year. ;D

yep.. mine is in the bsso section and rightly so.. it isnt a road bike... Mad Martin Murray will be there maybe with 2 works Falc's engined smallies. I think daz is taking his 90ss falc Shaggy had better be there or there will be trouble. Ste15 will be there as long as i get the bits to finish his motor.
So.. thats 6 smallies already!

Hoping I can get there, and race if I can put this motor together in time. Lack of funds has delayed things a bit

Yeah Shane. Might need one of those! but do i use the same as last year for a comparison as i have raised the exhaust slightly and alteted the pipe a touch. or my old polini with its new pipe and trimings.. Shame i dont have another frame otherwise both would be going. was gonna swap them over for a day each but cant be bothered with that....

if the weather is ok a motor swap in the evening isnt too bad. If all goes to plan on saturday I may completely strip mine to down gear for acceleration with the 27/69. We will see.

I could help with the engine swap Shane. nice one max. may well take you up on that. unless we can coble together a frame and forks and stick it in that then i would be happy to allow forum members to use it... if the frame donor is happy too that is.. help out all those travelling without their scoots.. not sure how we would register it like..

Above and bellow 160 is probably the best split, I think we should be able to see off the PX 150s ;D I'm going to try and make it if work commitments allow it. Should have my Polini evo reed valve 54 stroke going by then.
