These tools aren't for applying the aluminium beading, they are just for straightening the corresponding swage in the legshields for it to attach to. They'll remove paint even if you just think about using them ;D
There are three basic options with legshield beading. Firstly some rubber type flexible stuff from Beedspeed etc, just pops over the swage, usually comes in black. Can look a bit cheap tbh and not a standard look. I've a few different types of this you can have gratis.
Second is a preformed aluminium looking trim (which is actually a chromed plastic) which requires no tool other than locking pliers and patience. You oil the fuck out of it and then feed it on each side from the top, little by little. I've attached mole grips to the bottom of each bit and tug it down slowly. This is not a fun job btw.
Thirdly is an original type trim which is crimped on using a special roller tool. I've just recently done this for the first time and it's a thankless task too, I found the wheel profile on the tool to be wrong so I made another on the lathe. Turned out good but what a faff. I'll be posting the tool back to Gioia soon so if you want to borrow it first, yell.
Just don't ask me to do it for ya ;D

If not then Beedspeed do rubber chrome and gold trim. Never used it before so not sure what the quality is like but it's cheap so can't hurt the wallet

New to the forum but would love to be able to use these tools. Would sending them to usa be ok? Will these be same measurements for a sears bluebadge small frame vma1 frame as other small frames?

Where's the wine, the chocolates? Not so much as a first date and you're after a little action huh I made these tools for contributors to the forum to share and without so much as an introduction you want them posted half the way across the world? Find someone with a welder and make a set and then post some pictures of your scooter please.
