Nice photos Tony. Stuart is a top guy. I've known him for 30 years this year and his enthusiasm has not dimished in the slightest over those 30 years. People talk about top riders and often to forget to mention Stuart. He's only won the championship 9 times afterall.

yes i agree.... stu is an awesome rider. I know as I have raced against him 1 to 1 over the last few years. Gerrards in 2009 at Mallory. Its a flat out corner in top once tyres are warm. You give a little 'confidence lift' as you go in (well I do). What this tends to do is unsettle the bike for an instant and then you nail the thottle again.. this tends to get the bike extra stable and solid through the bend(as its driving). You enter this corner at around 90/95mph. anyway.. first lap and I am on the back us usual and having to fight through... I get past most and maybe up to 8th and I am watching a loon rider , knee down, on this grp4 lambretta . He is offline and riding round the outside of everyone.. I immediately 'use' his confidence and tuck in behind him. I let him take me through the pack mid corner... that loon was Stuart. I wouldnt have thought it possible on cold tyres... but he did it.
